Phonk Evolution Controls

+1 Phonk Evolution uses Roblox’s default character plus a custom HUD: tap/click for Phonk, Menu for Codes and Evolve, and world triggers for treadmills and win pads. This page is the device map. It will not invent unique keybinds the game never shipped.

Esc is Roblox’s system menu (leave, shift lock, screenshot). Codes are not there. If you cannot find Redeem, you opened the wrong menu. Use how to redeem.

Shift lock helps on win pads because you can walk straight onto the volume without the camera sliding. Toggle it in the Roblox menu, then return to the game HUD.

Two hamburgers exist. The Roblox one is leave/report. The game one is Codes, Daily, Evolve. The wiki’s own mobile nav follows the same idea: language stays outside the hamburger. In-game, keep that split in your head.

Landscape mode uncovers HUD icons that portrait hides under your right thumb. If Claim or Codes is missing, rotate first, then read daily rewards.

Console / gamepad

Move with the left stick, camera with the right, jump with the south face button (A / Cross). Open the game HUD with the button the onboarding arrow points at — usually the left d-pad or a bumper, not the Roblox pause. Text fields for codes use the on-screen keyboard. Disable auto-capitalization if the pad offers it.

World volumes

Treadmills and win pads are location triggers, not keybinds. Walk into them. If Phonk is not rising, you are on the frame of the machine, not the belt — see treadmill training. If Wins are not rising after a wipe, you never entered the pad — see how to get Wins.

Accessibility and HUD scale

Roblox Settings → Accessibility can enlarge UI. Do that if Evolve and Rebirth sit on top of each other. Rebirth is the dangerous one; you do not want a fat-finger reset before the cap in how to evolve.

Graphics quality does not change tap rate. Lower it if the gym stutters in a full 14-player server so you can still see the pad glow.

First-session binding check

Before you chase Shadow, confirm you can: move, tap, open Codes, claim Daily, step on a treadmill, and walk onto a pad. That is the whole skill floor. The beginner guide uses those six actions in order.

If a patch remaps the HUD, it will be noted in patch notes. Until then, assume left-stack icons plus world volumes.

Chat, camera, and the tap button

The Roblox chat bar is / on PC. Do not bind a macro that types into chat when you meant to tap Phonk. Emotes do not raise the counter. If a friend stands on your treadmill, they are not stealing XP — volumes are not exclusive — but they can hide the belt glow. Zoom the camera out one notch so you can see whether your feet are in the trigger. Pad routing after that is treadmill training.

Rebirth is a HUD problem

The dangerous control is not jump. It is the Rebirth entry sitting next to Evolve. Enlarge UI in Roblox Settings if those two labels overlap on a phone. A fat-finger reset before the progress planner gate is how first-hour files die. After any accidental reset, do not mash again — rebuild on the starter pad using getting started.

Console text fields

Codes still need a string. On gamepad, open the on-screen keyboard, disable auto-capitalization, and paste from the codes hub if your overlay allows clipboard. If it does not, type slowly. A single extra space is an invalid code, not a server outage.
